Maidenhead Riverside Gardens

Virtual Tour of the Riverside Gardens at Maidenhead

The Riverside Gardens at Maidenhead lie on the banks of the Thames by the road bridge over the A4. A little area of tranquility with a fountain and park benches to while away an hour or two.

Across the river you can see the remains of Skindles, a nightclub notorious for its hedonistic activities in the 20th Century, right up until recently. Now is is scheduled to be redeveloped into...who knows?

A short way upstream you will find Boulters Lock and Ray Mill Island, both also worth a visit. Under the A4 road bridge you will find Brunel's Railway bridge with its famous Sounding Arch.
